In 2004 I was asked by UCLA Outdoor Adventures to act as the kayak guide for a trip of people who had never kayaked before. The trip was to go up the Colorado River through Black Canyon below Hoover damn.

It was a beautiful trip with hot springs, big horn sheep and an unusual perspective of the mighty Hoover Dam.
